Browse DirectoryGeneral Telegram channels — FAQ
How are the best General Telegram channels ranked?
They are ordered by real subscriber count and rating — one vote per verified account. Paid placement never changes the ranking: Featured channels are labelled as ads and sit in their own section.
Are these General Telegram channels free to join?
Yes. TGDirectory lists public General channels, groups and bots on Telegram, and joining any of them is free. We do not sell access to channels.
How do I add my General channel to the directory?
Use “Submit a Channel” — every submission is reviewed by a human before it appears. Once it is listed, you can claim it to prove you run it and get a verified badge.
How often is the General list updated?
Listings are re-checked against Telegram regularly, so member counts stay current, and newly submitted General channels are reviewed and added continuously.
What does the verified badge on a General channel mean?
It means the owner proved they run the channel, or an admin confirmed it is the authentic channel it appears to be. It is not a review of the channel's content or quality.
