Median change in subscribers over about 30 days, by channel size — from two real recorded counts per channel.
Calculated Fri, 30 Oct 2026 21:52 UTC from the live directory. Refreshed every few hours.
We compare each channel's subscriber count recorded 25 to 35 days ago with its latest one from the last three days (median gap 27 days). Channels without both counts are left out. Right now 14,403 channels have both.
| Subscribers (at the start) | Median change |
|---|---|
| Under 1K | +1.3%n = 640 |
| 1K–10K | +0.3%n = 5,351 |
| 10K–100K | -0.2%n = 6,804 |
| 100K–1M | -0.5%n = 1,419 |
| 1M+ | -1.3%n = 189 |
| All channels | -0.1%n = 14,403 |
A dash means fewer channels of that size have two counts yet; the figure appears as soon as enough do. The median is the middle channel: half grew more, half grew less or shrank.
Every figure here comes from approved channels listed on TGDirectory and from what Telegram shows on each channel's public web preview: the subscriber count, the view counter on recent posts and the date of the newest post. Growth uses one real subscriber count per channel per day, recorded since we started watching that channel. Nothing is estimated, seeded or filled in.
Medians are used rather than averages, so one huge or viral channel cannot move a figure on its own. Each figure shows how many channels it is based on (n), and a figure based on fewer than 20 channels is not shown at all.
These figures describe channels in this directory, not all of Telegram. Want yours measured? List your channel.
